In this workshop participants are
introduced to Readers Theater for young L2 students. In addition to “standard”
Readers Theater methodology and resources, a wide range of procedures are
reviewed which involve careful, systematic use of managed movement such as body
posture, gesture and stage movement. In the extended version, teams of
instructors develop, perform and critique RT plays.
