AMPS-EP (for) Non-Native English Speaking Teachers

The AMPS-EP-NNEST (NNEST) program is designed to assist the non-native English speaking instructor in enhancing her or his personal, professional English intelligibility. AMP-EP-NNEST programs assume cohorts where all participants speak the same L1 and where all instructors teach in reasonably similar classroom contexts.

The general format is similar to other AMPS-PIE programs:

A. Begins with pre-program web-based briefing

B. One-day Orientation-training session

C. 6 to 12 months of standard weekly follow up-- “live”, online or by webcam

D. Program can work with up to 60 participants simultaneously.

AMPS-EP-NNEST can be followed up with an optional AMPS-EP/NNEST teaching methodology set of modules.
