In this workshop participants are first
introduced to the basics and latest developments and resources in the area
of “Total Physical
Response”(Asher, 1972) teaching techniques. Next, the general use of movement in
second language teaching is reviewed, extending the model to a wide range of
useful visual-kinesthetic techniques tied to all areas of content instruction.
In the last phase of the workshop, participants do preliminary lesson plans for
their own instructional setting,
incorporating the MM framework.
